From a BC Regional event:
I am absolutely thrilled to be asked to Judge the 2018 BC/Yukon Regional Championship once again!!
My obsession with agility started 18+ years ago when I signed up for my very first agility class. I was instantly hooked and in that time I have been blessed with amazing dogs who have shared my passion, given me so many precious memories and been by my side for some of my proudest moments.
I share my life with my husband, daughter and 3 border collies. I can often be seen competing in the ring with my 4 year old dog Wren and hope to be competing with Lark very soon. Over the last year I have had to retire my partner Sage … it is still difficult not to have her in the competition ring with me but she loves being spoiled in her old age.
In 2007 I became an AAC Judge and I love it!! Judging has given me the opportunity to see amazing relationships between handler and dog and to meet so many wonderful people. As always, I am excited to come out to BC and fully expect to be blown away by the talents of amazing teams.
As competitors’ step to the start line and the adrenaline starts to pump … I hope to see that they take a deep breath and glance down at their teammate, their best friend, the one who will be happy at the end of the run no matter what happens. Enjoy the moment, it’s yours to share.
Good luck everyone!!!
