From a website:

Kirstin was raised in Dogsports; starting at a very young age and continuing for more than 24 years she has been involved in many aspects of dog training.
When her family opened one of the very first dog daycares and Dogsports training facilities in Canada, Kirstin would spend every spare moment after and before school training day care dogs.

When it comes to training, Kirstin is a firm believer in cross training, using aspects of different sports to help better performances in ALL venues. Kirstin has trained dogs in many Dogsports including Agility, Flyball, Obedience, Trick training, Disc, Dock diving, Freestyle, Barn hunt, Terrier trials, Whippet racing (straight/oval/coursing), IPO, French ringsport, Tracking, Rally, Scent hurdling, and Conformation.
Her work with dogs has also expanded to including live stage dog wrangling, and she has wrangled a number of dogs (her own and student dogs) in theatrical productions. She was also a long time member of the performing show “Superdogs”, until she helped create the new amazing performing troop “Dynamo dogs”.

Although all her dogs are trained in many venues, Agility is their main focus. Euro a Berger Picard was her first dog and had several top 5 placements at the national level, he is also still to the day the most accomplished/titled of his breed. Beckham (PRT) and Radical Rabbit (Malinois) are both Regional and National winners; both have earned spots on world teams competing at IFCS. FCI, and EO.

Tenacious Turtle, Kirstin’s Whippet, is well known for giving the Border Collies a run for their money. He has several placements at the Regional and National level, including winning top dog at a UKI cup in 2017 against many world team dogs. He also competed with team Australia in 2017 at WAC.
Posh Piranha came to Kirstin as an adult, but since then they have had many Regional and National wins, as well as earning a spot as alternate on the 2017 IFCS team and earning a full spot on the 2018 team.

Crocodile Crunch is Kirstin’s young rescue mix who was a foster fail. Although she has some issues both behaviorally and structurally, Crunch is turning into a spectacular agility dog, and was VERY close to making the 2018 WAC team in her very first year competing at the Regional and National level. She had MANY 1st place runs in both events, and we look forward to seeing her next year.

Kirstin started a flyball team a couple years ago, they already have a PB of 16.2 with a “multibreed” team and 3 of Kirstin’s dogs running. She will never give up trying to better a dog’s performance, regardless of how fast it already runs, or how much improvement may be needed. She puts just as much work into improving a dog currently running 7 seconds as she does a dog running 3.6 seconds.

Although she does not actively compete in disc with her dogs anymore, she did qualify for the World Championships with both Euro and Radical, and still thrills the crowds with Freestyle disc demonstrations during Dynamo shows. As well Kirstin is very active in Disc Golf competition to help keep her form, and has won and placed highly in numerous competitions
