From the 2017 Nationals site:
I was very honoured to be asked to fill in for a judge at this year’s National Agility Championships. I didn’t compete in our Regionals this year because my oldest dog Ryder was ill. Ryder has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge and it seemed like fate when I was presented with the opportunity to attend the Nationals as a Judge.
I have been involved in agility for a little over 15 years. I competed with my three Golden Retrievers over the years at the local, regional and national level. My third Golden, Whisky, is still actively competing in agility as a veteran. In recent years we have added a Dutch Shepherd and a Border Collie to our family and I currently enjoy playing agility with them. I am an agility instructor for Crocus Obedience and Kennel Club in Brandon, Manitoba and I have been an AAC judge for seven years. In addition to our three dogs, I share my life with my husband Jamie, and I work as a Clinical Dietitian at the Brandon Regional Health Center.
I wish everyone a weekend of fun times that will translate into cherished memories at this year’s Nationals. See you in Langley!
